Agora Theatre

LIGALA works with actors, artists and creatives in Nairobi and its environs and contributes to the growth and development of stage theatre culture and the wider artistic culture in Nairobi through the stage performances, poetry, spoken word, musical experiments. LIGALA has produced successful performances including Adipo Sidang’s Parliament of Owls play (selected as a highschool setbook by the Government for the period 2024 – 2027).

Through Agora Theatre, LIGALA entrenches a culture of producing performances and eliciting conversations that deeply engage audiences and the public on varied themes, and augmenting artistically the organisation’s philosophy.
